A German police officer has been killed by a member of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang

A police officer has been killed by a member of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang during a house search in central Germany.
The prosecutor's office in Koblenz said a 43-year-old member of the Hells Angels shot twice at a police officer who tried to open the suspect's apartment door during a raid related to prostitution in Anhausen.
The 42-year-old officer died from internal bleeding and the suspect was arrested.
In recent weeks across Germany, police have been cracking down on illegal activities they claim motorcycle gangs such as the Hells Angels and Bandidos have been involved in.
