NIGHT Owl left Joan and all the gang to enjoy the rest of the night and headed over to Wards where there was a good few people out enjoying a drink on this particular Friday.

We first bumped into Gerry and Anne Hodgins and Margaret and Tony Hodgins who were all out having a great laugh together.

The two brothers Gerry and Tony, often go out with their wives in a group at the weekend and have brilliant craic together. The gang were having a few drinks in Wards before heading over to join Joan and the gang at her 70th birthday. There were all looking forward to a great night ahead and the ladies planned on heading straight for the dancefloor.

There were more birthday celebrations underway that night with Lorraine Thornton celebrating her birthday with her husband and good friends. Lorraine was pictured with her husband Derek, Nuala and Glen Lynch from Duleek Street and Ronan Nulty from Ballsgrove.

Nuala, who is Lorraine's best friend, had been looking forward to the night out all week. 'It's Lorraine's birthday today so we decided to come out for the night and celebrate,' she stated. The gang planned on having a few more drinks in Wards before heading to another pub and maybe even a nightclub later on.

We left Wards and made our way over to Shooters where the summer spirit was in evidence with many people having a few drinks before heading over to Earth for the beach party.

Among them were sisters Jordan and Shannon Cowley from Termonfeckin. The girls were wearing their beach attire and were very excited for the night ahead. ' We went to the beach party last night and we're planning on going tonight, maybe even tomorrow night as well,' said Jordan. The girls really enjoyed the beachthemed party and thought Earth went all out when decorating the night club.

There was another gang across the way who were enjoying their Friday night out. Brothers Dean and Steven Bishop from Donore, Leanne Finglas from Drogheda and Steven Madden also from Donore were pictured together on the night. Dean and Steven Madden were celebrating their performance for St Mary's GFC in a semifinal match the week before.

They were all enjoying the craic in Shooters and planned on heading over to the Star bar later on in the night.

Another group also planned on heading over to the Star bar later on. David Beakey, Laurence Cassidy from Bellewstown, Jack Macken from Stamullen and Philip Callan from Bellewstown decided to head into Drogheda on this Friday night to enjoy the pubs and clubs.

The lads planned on ending up in Storm later on and carry on the fun into the early hours.
