because he has been the best of friends with my boys since they were about two years old,' she jokes.

Their other great pal, Cian Ruddy was also at the centre of the party.

The twins' maternal grandparents, Nancy and Packie Woods, weren't able to make the Black Bull, but they took part in celebrations earlier in the house.

A number of their Durkin relations, including Martin and Clare, as well as Kathleen and Pat Healy where there. Gary's godparents, John Woods and Kathleen Healy, and Graham's godparents, Brendan and Imelda Woods, also joined the 120-plus people at the party.

Gary and Graham's IDENTICAL twins Gary and Graham Durkin celebrated their 21st birthdays in the Black Bull recently, surrounded by their family and many friends.

Their proud mum, Anne and dad, Gerry Durkin, who hail from Gaulstown, Duleek, as well as their four older sisters, Lorna, Emma, Serena, and Sarah, and Graham's girlfriend, Clare Lynch, partied until the small hours.

The popular twins, who went to Duleek National School and then to St Mary's in Drogheda, are now both doing a building surveying course in DkIT.

Gary and Graham are so alike that even their mum gets confused between them!

Both Ann, who is originally a Woods from Arthcarne, Duleek, and her husband have twins in the family with Gerry having twin brothers – but Ann jokes that she feels as if she has a third son, family friend Darren Woods.

'He is like an adopted son because he stays so much at the house older sisters, Lorna and her boyfriend, Stephen McKeey, Emma and her husband, Adrian O'Halloran, Serena and her boyfriend, Colin and Sarah and her boyfriend, Derek, also made sure everyone had a wonderful time.

As well as tucking into food and cake, the guests got a chance to look at the old photographs of the twins which had been hung up in the Black Bull.

The only people who weren't able to celebrate with their uncles were Sean (5), Cian (3), Dylan ( 2) and Jamie ( five months), who were tucked up in bed.

' They want to thank everyone for all the lovely presents and lots of cash as well as vouchers.

'It was a brilliant night but they will have to go back to their books and study for their final year very soon,' adds mum, Anne.
