IT was reported that well-known singer Jimbo Reilly was on the brink of signing a major record deal with Universal.
He had been spotted by a sales executive from the company while playing a gig in Benson's and was hoping that something would come of the meeting.
'I got a call from my manager and he said that Universal had been on,' he stated.
