New arrivals mark first anniversary at Newgate

IT'S hard to believe, but it has only been one year since the Mazda and Honda Brands joined Newgate Motor Company in their iconic glass fronted buildings on the Kells Road, Navan.
Newgate had been best known as leading suppliers of Mercedes Benz and Land Rover before Mazda and Honda joined the team.
Jim Ring who owns Newgate Motor Company along with Gerry O'Connor, stated, 'It certainly is hard to believe that it was only January of last year when Mazda and Honda joined us at Newgate.
'It naturally takes time for any business to establish new products, but I'm very pleased at how quickly we've seen the two new franchises take off. Traditionally, Irish car buyers stuck with their local dealer for convenience, but times have certainly changed.
'Our customer base is made up of significant numbers from Meath, Dublin, Louth, Cavan, Westmeath and Kildare, but we've also had many customers travel from as far away as Cork, Waterford and Galway'.
So with a reputation for Value, Quality and Professionalism now well known across the whole of the Republic of Ireland, Newgate decided to add Mazda and Honda to an already impressive line up.
'The decision to add new franchises to the Newgate line-up has been on the agenda for quite some time,but we obviously wanted to choose the right brand in fitting with our reputation. As it turns out, we took on two new franchises at the same time.
'Both Mazda and Honda regularly top reliability surveys, are beautifully engineered cars, and are fantastic value, so by adding them to the range of Mercedes and Land Rover already available, we felt that this would mean we had something for everyone,' added Jim.
Jim also explained that Newgates range of services stretches much further than just new and used car sales, 'our service workshop contains not only the most advanced equipment available, but our technicians all come trained to the very highest levels.'
It's commonly reported that car sales in Ireland are suffering because there is no finance available, we asked Newgates Finance Manager, Gary Hoey to find out if that was true, he had this to say 'there's little doubt that some dealers have suffered from lack of available finance to their customers who want to buy a car, we're fortunate at Newgate however where we were never reliant on just one service provider.
'We deal with a wide range of finance providers and as such we continue to be able to offer an extensive range of financial packages. In fact many customers who traditionally would have used their own savings are now taking up the option of finance as most now see the benefits of protecting their savings.
'The fact we deal with so many financial providers means we can also get the very best deals for our customers, better even than the banks are able to offer over the counter at their branches'.
