The Mall needs some more lights

TWO points have been brought to my attention which I have to give a mention to. One is the issue of lighting down by The Mall, opposite Scotch Hall and the other, the roundabout as you enter Aston Village.
So what else, I checked them out.
Yes, the lighting around the Mall area is pretty bad. The street lights are present but don't throw off much light I have to say and the fact that it is a parking area and can be quite busy at times, I think a few more lights, even for health and safety alone, would not go amiss.
And the roundabout at Aston Village – it's another issue. The fact that there's no road markings makes it pretty dangerous and I can't understand why it hasn't been ungraded – it's been there long enough.
If you have any more issues around town that need to be highlighted, get in touch. - I POPPED in to Cafe Kaya in the Abbey Shopping Centre last week and I' m delighted to see it open.
It's got a real West Indian feel, all it' s missing is a few cricket bats and balls!
