Big birthday celebrations on double
SCHOOL friends Michael Carter and Paul Moore who have known each other since they went to St Joseph's CBS together held a joint 21st in the Star Bar recently. Michael, Flanagan's Terrace was accompanied by his girlfriend, Sarah Dyas, from Ballsgrove. Paul, whose family hail from Pearse Park, was there with his girlfriend, Lorna from Moneymore.
Among the guests of honour on the night were May Campbell, Michael's nanny from Oulster Lane, his parents, Theresa and Michael Carter, and Paul's parents, Tina and Paul, senior, and brothers, Darren and Conor Moore as well as Paul's grandparents.
Dozens of aunts, uncles and cousins also enjoyed the night with music provided by DJ Karl Clinton and lots of food and of course birthday cakes. The party went on until late in The Star Bar and then back to both Michael and Paul's family home.
With Michael working in Eurospar, Bredin Street and Paul in Glanbia, there was also a big turnout from both places.
Both of them want to thank their girlfriends, their parents, families and friends for such a great night.
