Keep Safe this Christmas
CHRISTMAS time is vast approaching.
It is one of my favorite holidays of the year but for others it can be the worst.
We have people who have lost loved ones around this time of the year and there are elderly people living alone, some of whom have no proper means of looking after themselves, the worst not even having proper heating or clean facilities to make something to eat.
To make things worse no one can feel safe in their houses as we have an even worse demon living amongst us, and they are people who just don't give a damn.
The worst offender is the thieves amongst us that even during the day would have the cheek to break into people's houses.
If you know of an elderly person or person/s living in your area, please be sure to keep an eye out for them, even pop around for a chat and show you care. It could be the best Christmas present you could give.

CONGRATS to the pupils at St. Buite's school for their brilliant performance at the Hallelujah Concert in the RDS in Dublin, on Saturday last.
The show in general was breathtaking from start to finish and, in many ways, a sight to behold. Most importantly, among the thousands of kids partaking, were our very own from Tenure, and boy, they did us proud. Well done to Mary Conneely and her crew for making this day possible for the very grateful children.
