WEDDING bells rang out in Collon last Friday as the marriage took place of Carole Matthews, Glenmore and Alan Dalton, Limerick. Following the ceremony in the Church of Mary Immaculate, the bridal party and guest headed to the City North Hotel for their reception.
The bride, who looked absolutely stunning on this fine spring day, was joined by her sisters as bridesmaids, Lynette, Ciara and Nicola Matthews. Alan was ably assisted by his best man Dave Coates, and groomsmen Dave McGuill and Peter Kelly. Looking very cute on the day were pageboys, Kyle Whelan, Jack McLoughlin, Shane McLoughlin and Ben McLoughlin. And needless to say, flower girl Kayla Whelan looked fantastic. I believe a wonderful day was had with the celebration continuing on Saturday.
Carole is a daughter of Henry and Diana Matthews and Alan is a son of John and Margaret Dalton. The newly weds are currently on honeymoon in Africa. We wish them life long health and happiness in their married life.
