Meath TD will attend public meeting
MEATH TD Shane Mcentee will be quizzed about the septic tank and household charges as well as Community Employment Schemes when he attends a public meeting at Teach Raithneach, Starinagh, Collon, organised by Broomfield & District Residents' Association.
'Issues of public concern' to the community in these 'difficult economic times' will be up for discussion, this Thursday from 8 p.m., according to the association's chairman Gerard Weldon.
'This is the community's opportunity to express their opinions and views on the issues that currently affect them and we are asking them to avail of this opportunity to express their opinions and views on issues including the septic tank and household charges as well as the care of the elderly, audit fees and insurance costs for not-for-profit organisations and Community Employment Schemes as well as any other business,' Gerard Weldon added.
