Armed robbery

AN armed robber escaped with a large quantity of cash from the shop in Wheaton Hall, Dublin Road on Monday night.
The lone raider entered the shop at around 9.45pm, and threated staff with a hammer, before grabbing money fromthe tills and making off with the large sum of money.
The robber was chased from the shop by the owner, and gardai are examining CCTV footage.
