Concert raises Malawi funds
TICKETS are now available for the 'Gala Concert' in aid of the Venture Malawi Project 2009.
The concert will feature the No 1 Army Band, with conductor Commandant Mark Armstrong, the Eden Choral, with conductor Anne Conaghan and David Martin, with compere Des Ellison.
The wonderful evening will be held in St Mary's, Drumcar on Friday November 27th at 8pm sharp.
The funding is needed to aid in the building of a new, state-of-the-art St John of God Brothers' college of health and science in Mtuzu, Malawi.
Wine and cheese will be served at the interval of the concert and the admission price is a mere € 20 for a great night's entertainment and a worthy cause.
