CULTURE in the rain at Oldbridge House. That was the scenario on Sunday evening as the Chapterhouse Theatre Company arrived by the Boyneside with that old adage 'the show must go on!'
Despite the rain, the English-based touring company delivered a masterclass of the Jane Austen classic Pride and Prejudice watched by hundreds of fans.
The latest show, held under the umbrella of the Droichead Arts Centre, followed a successful performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream a couple of weeks ago.
It is hoped the two shows will mark a new awakening of outdoor arts performances in the region â?“ no matter the weather.
