Guard of honour for Fireman Paddy

DROGHEDA Fire Brigade provided a guard of honour at the funeral of Patrick (Paddy) Reynolds, who passed away on Thursday, January 28th.
Paddy, from Laurence Drive, was a member of the Fire Service for more than 20 years and although retired, he kept in touch with many of his old colleagues and attended both the final Christmas party in the old station on Scarlet Street and the opening of the new station on the Rathmullen Road.
'Paddy was a longstanding and well respected member of the Fire Brigade and will be sadly missed by all those who knew him,' a spokepserson for Drogheda Fire Brigade said.
Paddy is survived by his wife, Mary, sons John, Brian and Barry, daughters Emer, Liz and Amanda, daughters-in-law Maria and Majella, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Peter, Jackie and Dominic, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass took place on Saturday, January 30th in Our Lady of Lourdes Church with burial afterwards in St Peter's Cemetery.
