Huge crowds of people attended Mr McKeown?s funeral which took place in Donore where he was living at the time of his death.
At the time of his funeral, Drogheda Mayor Anthony Donohoe said the 2007 homicide figures were ?not the kind of statistics? he wanted ?to see attached to our town?.
