Baby Max touched the hearts of many during his short life
BABY MAX Crosby, 29 Shamrock Grove Dunleer died at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden, on March 26 in the company of his loving parents Jim and Wendy, and sister Stacey.

Donna Dunne – The death has occurred of Donna Dunne of Pearse Park, suddenly, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Funeral is Thursday to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Former Lourdes maternity matron passes
THERE was a large attendance in Drogheda for the funeral last Wednesday of Sister M Declan Doyle MMM. Her devoted family travelled from Carlow and Dublin, while former patients and staff of Airmount Maternity Hospital joined former patients of Lourdes Maternity Unit in Drogheda to say farewell to the woman who cared for them in the labour ward.
Pat always known as a dapper dresser
NOTED as a great dancer and snappy dresser, Patrick (Pat) Brogan passed away on May 10th 2010 following a short illness. It was no surprise that Pat featured in The Drogheda Independent's 'Focus on Fashion' some time ago.
Community mourns for Breda O'Huallacháin
THE death took place on August 3rd of Breda Ó Huallacháin from Knockbridge. Breda had been seriously ill since October and after seven months in Beaumont Hospital was, since May, most attentively cared for at home by her family, her care workers and palliative care nurses from the Dóchas Centre.
