CANON Jim Carroll has stated that he feels Cardinal Brady will 'make a decision that is good and right' in relation to his future.
'On a personal level I know him to be a good man and I hope people pray for him and for the survivors of abuse,' he told the Drogheda Independent.
''From his own dealings, I feel he has a heightened awareness of these problems and the safeguard of children'.
He refused to be drawn on the question if Cardinal Brady should resign or not and felt that was a decision for him alone.
'There is a lot of confusion out there and we must look forward and commit ourselves to a very difficult future,' he stated.
