COUNCILLORS have reacted angrily to the way they were not allowed to participate in the crisis meeting held in Drogheda last week, where Drogheda Chamber members and traders were invited to speak.

THERE will be lots of dough this St Patrick's Day, thanks to the owners of the Copper Kettle who will be slicing up their 10kg scone on Peter's Street. Owners Dalia Petuskaite and Asta Marcinkevica wanted to mark Ireland's national day with a giant tribute in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. The two Lithuania natives will be outside their cafe from 10am on St Patrick's Day offering slices of the huge scone to passers-by.
