Thursdays proving hit at Conyngham Arms Hotel

JAMES Redmond, the new owner of the Conyngham Arms Hotel, Slane, is aiming to please most music tastes at the venue in the coming weeks, with country star Mick Flavin and Bagatelle recent visitors.
Kieran McGilligan kicked off the new Thursday night country special recently and James expressed himself well pleased with the way it went.
'I was very happy with the way it went. We've had good crowds and everyone enjoyed themselves and we got plenty of positive feedback. The Thursday night seems to be a hit,' James said.
He is also looking forward to his first experience of St Patrick's Day in Slane and as well as serving food throughout the day will have an Irish Dancing School performing in the ballroom as well as traditional music and then further entertainment later in the evening.
