What a Transformation!
PARENTS THROW CALORIES AND CAUTION TO THE WIND

THEY may have been alcohol free and counting every calorie for the past seven weeks but the ladies from Operation Transformation parents group let their hair down last weekend when they celebrated the end of the show with dinner and cocktails.
The 13 women (and one man!) from Mumstown.ie lost almost 14 stone during the duration of the seven-week show and celebrated in style with dinner in Romanza followed by drinks in Bru last Friday night.
Those throwing calories and caution to the wind for the night included Mumstown owner Siobhan O'Neill-White and husband David White, her mum Margaret, Heather Strickland, Catherine Baker, Karen Mullen, Josephine Rudd, Michelle Egan, Yvonne McGrane and Baibre Kelly.
There was plenty to celebrate as Margaret, who broke her wrist at the start of the Operation Transformation programme, finally had her cast removed, and Heather Strickland had an early birthday celebration ahead of the big day on Monday.
'It was a great night and the majority of us had the three courses, it was so gorgeous we couldn't leave anything behind! But it was good, well made food,' said Heather.
'We weren't stingy with the alcohol either although we've all been abstaining so it didn't take much! We had some champagne with strawberries and some wine with
dinner.'
The group, which also included the one man who took part with the group, Siobhan's husband Brian, then moved on to Bru where the Facebook Friday password in order to get in was 'Transformation Complete' in honour of the group.
'It was a fantastic night and there were a lot of sore heads the next day - and tired heads as well because of course you still have to get up with the kids,' laughed Heather.
However, she said despite treating themselves on Friday night, the group haven't lost their resolve to keep up the good work started on Operation Transformation.
' There's talk of a Mumstown holiday now so we need to get in shape for the bikinis. We're all planning healthy meals now and people are keeping up things like Salsa class and pole dancing which we started for the programme but are now keeping up.'
