DONAGHMORE/ ASHBOURNE maintained their winning start to the 2010 league campaign with a deserved home win over Blackhall Gaels in Ashbourne on Sunday.
The goals proved decisive in a match where there was little to choose between the sides throughout the first half. It was David Morgan's goal close to half-time that separated the sides at the break.
When Eoin Reilly struck for a second goal early in the second period it put some daylight between the teams and the game ended as a contest after corner back Sean Curran got on the end of a fine move for goal number three.
