Louth handball duo S Devlin and J Heslin were defeated in the Leinster 60x30 Doubles Diamond Masters final by J Dooley & C Moore (Kilkenny) 21-19, 21-13 at Talbots Inch on Saturday last.
Both Louth men played good handball but could not manage to unsettle the Kilkenny pair who had the home advantage.
All roads lead to Abbeylara in Longford this weekend for the Onewall Doubles Tournament. O'Raghallaigh's club men A Smith & S Heslin have the ability to make it to the final, while at Juvenile level Ben Devlin and Gary Kelly should gain vital experience as both players make their debuts at onewall handball. Good luck to them.
Juvenile handball coaching will resume on Monday September 6th at the O'Raghaillaigh's.
