David Reid scored four points as Mattock Rangers continued their strong defence of the Sheelan Cup with a second win against St Mary's.

Mattock Rangers 4-13 St Mary's 2-8 MATTOCK Rangers made it two wins from as many outings on their visit to Pairc Mhuire, Ardee. The sides were level at the end of a low-scoring first half by which stage St Mary's had registered 1-3 and the Collon outfit, six points. However, the visitors really cut loose during the second periodm banging in four goals, two of them coming from Robbie Brennan.

However, Glyde, who welcomed back John Daly, stepped it up in the second period when their goal arrived courtesy of Trevor O'Brien.
