Boyne
Boyne, along with the Zero Gravity club, took part in a 12-hour mountain bike race in Bellurgan, Dundalk.
The Boyne riders were John Grifferty and Fergus Mc Cann and the Zero Gravity riders were Joe Moore and Derek McCloskey, and they were third in the four-man team race, completing 14 laps of a tough 10km course in the 12 hours. This was the Boyne club's first adult medals in mountain bike racing.
Adult training takes place every Tuesady evening at Glenmore, Oldbridge, and the next race will be on Sunday week at Kippure House.
