OFFICERS elected at the Louth/Down/Monaghan Regional Pitch and Putt Board agm in Bellingham Castle Hotel were as follows: Chairperson - Pat Greene (Seapoint); Vicechairperson - Mary Agnew (Collon); Secretary - Ann O' Rourke (Channonrock]); Competition secretary - Mary Conlon (Channonrock); Registrar - Pat Mac Donald (Cloghogue); PRO - Keith Smyth (Mac Bride). -The closing date for the National Scramble is next Wednesday, and the first Open in the region is the Cement Open Scotch Foursomes from March 31st to April 3rd, with their Nett Cup on the 4th. -The Meath Matchplay Championships are on at Bellewstown this weekend, with the semifinals and finals on Sunday.
