The men's competition season commences with a fourball competition on Sunday February 5th with a shotgun start at 9am in Dundalk Golf Club.

Normally the Spring League does not have a good attendance rate, but this year we have had great interest, with almost 40 ladies signed up.

It was the turn of vice-captain Colin Mcparland to claim the last of the Sunday 12 hole sweep competitions with his 32 points a winner by one from Seamus Mccoy. James Coburn and Peter Smyth were next with 30 points. The 12 eclectic competition commences this week and will continue until the Captains Drive-in on March 11. There will be prize vouchers for the first 3 each week as well as for the top three overall. Play is over the entire week and repeat play is allowed. The same rules as the last eclectic competition applies.

The course was in such good condition last weekend that most players played 18 holes, which caused some confusion with results posted on Howdidido last weekend as the competition was only over 13 holes.
