Wife wins President's Prize
IT was a case of 'keeping it in the family' at County Louth Golf Club recently – when Aidan Walsh's President's Prize was won by his wife Anne!
More than 90 ladies set out for victory in sunny and windy conditions, with the links in top-class condition as usual. Anne hadn't won a competition in some time, but on this occasion she put her 'A' game together, played great golf and got round in a three-under-par 72 to win by one stroke.
To great amusement on what could be a unique occasion, Aidan then presented the prize to his other half.
