Fays man unfazed as he wins Singles

GRAHAM Unwin of Fays in Drumconrath is the new Duleek and District Dart League Singles champion.
From an entry of 140 players, the tournament at the Bettystown Court Hotel eventually reached the semi-final stage where Unwin was joined by John Andrews (Morning Star, Tullyallen) and Hunters Moon pair PJ McGrath and James Keogh.
It was Unwin and McGrath who won through to the final where the Fays player prevailed by five games to one to scoop the perpetual trophy and e300 prize.
The league's Doubles tournament will take place on Sunday March 7th, with entries closing the previous Thursday.
