Laytown throwers miss out

STEPHEN Murtagh and Paddy Kavanagh from the Cottage Inn in Laytown reached the final of Sunday's Duleek and District Dart League Doubles Tournament in the Bettystown Court Hotel.
However, they were defeated 4-3 by White Hart Inn Balbriggan pair Vinny Maguire and Martin O'Connell.
The beaten semi-finalists were all from Drogheda – Stephen Gibney and Willie Campbell (Punt Bar) and Bazz McDonnell and Joe Murphy (Boyne Rovers).
