Boys hit by double whammy at the finish

ALL the goals in this Under-12 Major top-of-the-table clash came in the final 10 minutes as Drogheda surrendered the lead in dramatic fashion.
Last Saturday's game looked destined to finish in a scoreless draw until Drogheda won a free kick half-way inside the Belvedere half.
It was swung in superbly into the danger area by Aaron McDonagh and Ahu Obakhan was there to instinctively slot home. But Belvedere stunned the Boys with an equaliser right on full-time, and worse was to follow when Drogheda went to sleep and another quick Belvo attack led to a stoppage-time winner.
On a more positive note, Boys goalkeeper Evan Farrell was called up into the DDSL Cashin Cup squad who trained with Blackburn Rovers' coaches on Sunday in Dublin.
