DROGHEDA Town are now unbeaten in 10 league games after taking all three points from this Under-9 Division 1 match at sunny St Joseph's last Saturday morning.
Kieron Craig opened the scoring with a fantastic strike that flew past Boyne's keeper and the eventual winners played some lovely passing football throughout.
Then Josh Murray went on a run down the left and sent a great ball in to Cormac O'Loughlin who was waiting in the box to slot home.
Simon Kelly, normally a defender, did well playing up front and added his name to the scoresheet, while captain Ciaran Reilly and Dean Clarke weere also prominent.
Boyne Rovers never gave up, came close to scoring and put in some great tackles, and best for Town were Jack Brady and Murray.
