Hawks are flying high
DROGHEDA Town Hawks eased through to the next round of the Under-11 Cup with three second-half goals.
The first half was a tight affair, and although chances fell to Hawks' O'connell, Meite and Caffrey the Walshestown keeper was equal to any shots. After the restart Drogheda made their superiority count when Sean Caffrey's determination in midfield allowed supporting player Femi Fanifosi to calmly slot the ball in from six yards.
O'connell got Town's second goal shortly after and Meite then got on the scoresheet himself after TJ Doheny unselfishly laid it off to Meite who blasted into the top corner.
