RATHKENNY Rovers had their 13th league outing of the season at The Junction last Saturday – and it didn't prove unlucky as they continued their unbeaten run.
An early goal from Jack Gore following fine work by Mark Fedigan settled the league leaders and they went close on a number of occasions to extend their lead in the first half.
Dromin fought hard throughout and put it up to the visitors, but they struggled to create many clear-cut chances.
Rathkenny continued to carve out the openings, but it wasn't until 15 minutes from the end that they got the clinching score.
It came almost out of nothing, with Andrew Crosbie hitting a low drive with the outside of his boot that curled into the net off a post.
Kevin Traynor and Joe Gore were best for the winners.
