Timely Traynor strike keeps Rovers on top

KEVIN Traynor scored a last-gasp winner for Under15 Division 1 leaders Rathkenny Rovers against the bottom of the table outfit at Walshestown last Saturday.
The game was in the final minute of normal time when Conor Darby's inswinging corner was headed to the roof of the net by Traynor.
Rathkenny dominated throughout and created numerous opportunities, but they were frustrated by the home side who defended well, especially in the second half.
Just when it looked as if they would have to be content with a point, Traynor broke the deadlock with the crucial goal.
Joe Gore and Owen O'Connor were best for Rathkenny.
